This is not from our current trip to Vail. This is from our trip to Tahoe last spring. I was organizing our pictures and videos today and I thought it was funny. Enjoy!

Let it Snow
It has snowed quite a bit since we have been in Vail. Wednesday, Mike and I rode the gondola up to have drinks mid-mountain. It was too snowy to really enjoy the view, but it was still wonderful. I am a bit scared of the gondola and pester Mike with questions like, "Are you sure this is safe?!?" and, "How often do they test this thing!" Mike, on the other hand, is not scared of the gondola at all.
Our ride down was much smoother for me. A glass of wine or two helps!
Mike spent most of Thursday working, and then his friend from work, Matt, arrived. We headed to Vail Village, walked around, got Matt's skis, and stopped at Los Amigos for drinks.
It was warmish yesterday, around 37 degrees, so we sat outside, enjoyed the view, and had a drink. Mike and I have learned that Mexican food outside of Texas, especially in Colorado, is not to be trusted. We didn't get a meal, just chips and salsa. The salsa, according to Mike tasted like, "Pizza Hut sauce." Gross.
Today Mike is off to snowboard with Matt and I am going to build a snowman with Duke.

Vail
Mike and I landed in Vail on Sunday are staying until February 7th. Two weeks filled with snow! I can't ski because of my foot, BUT I am officially walking with two real shoes. Exciting! Mike has been enjoying snowboarding and Duke loves playing in the snow. He acts like a puppy! I will update the pictures this week with our adventures.
Like my high-water ski pants?
Here we are at the dog park.
In front of The Red Lion (better known to some as Cougar Town USA).
First Post
Mike and I decided to start a blog to keep our family up to date on what is going on with us. I realized that when I spoke to people about what was going on with us, I always said the same thing, "Oh, you know. Same 'ol. Same 'ol." Well, that is not necessarily true. While most of our time is spent doing mundane things like work, we do happen to do some fun things. We will document those fun things on our new blog, Los Nagys. For those of you not from the Valley, it means "The Nagys". Here we will post, and by we, I mean probably me (Sydney), about the things going on in our life.
